He completed his MBBS from Thoothukudi Government Medical College and his DNB Orthopedic Surgery Postgraduation with Gold Medal (All India First Rank) from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. His passion towards Spine Surgery made him pursue FNB Spine Surgery (only certified Spine Surgery degree in India) from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, Spine Surgery training in Queens Medical Center, Nottingham, UK, Endoscopic Spine Surgery Fellowship, St Anna Hospital, Germany. He is the recipient of Dr Balusankaran Gold Medal, Dr Shrivastava Gold Medal, Dr Vyagareswaradu Gold Medal and various other Awards. He is currently the Delegate Council Member of AO Spine International Society based in Switzerland. He is also a member of Social work Committee of Association of Spine Surgeons of India. He has published various National and International articles in peer reviewed Journals and has presented more than 100 papers in National and International Conferences. His Specialiy includes all Spinal pathologies like Degenerative diseases, Infections, Tumors, Spine fractures with special interest towards Spinal deformities like Scoliosis and Kyphosis and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Endoscopic Spine Surgery.
